From September 1st 2008, EarShock.com is going to be a different place.

After listening to your requests we’ve made a lot of changes - and with a new editor, web design team and a professional photographer in our ranks, we’re becoming a user-generated, non-profit online magazine.

In a fit of altruism we’ve decided to help our charitable partners (Oxfam and UNICEF) by selling exclusive material and giving all the profits away. There will be quality prints of exclusive gig photographs and downloadable versions of the interviews you can read and listen to on the website.

We’re now taking your content submissions for the big release too… so send us over your gig and festival reviews, photographs, interviews and even gossip. We’ll take it all!

As for the release party… Saturday 1st September, 2007 - keep it free. There will be local bands, labels, professionals and fans (along with the obligatory free alcohol, of course). We’ll get in contact.
